Winter Family Fishing Weekend Througout Manitoba
If your family loves to fish, then this is a great weekend to get out there.

Due to the cold weather on the weekend of Feb 8 - 10, the final weekend events of the carnival have been postponed to February 20 - 24th.

This week-long extravaganza of winter fun features everything from a pancake breakfast and hockey tournament to a free BBQ and a fireworks display sponsored by Noventis!

So, gather up the family, bundle up and head out for a good time.

If you haven't gotten your fill of ice fishing yet this winter, then this is another event just for you.

1st place- $1,000 + 20% of ticket sales(up to $500)

Lundar Old-Time Country Dance Lundar Community Hall
Hosted by the Lundar Elks, this dance will get your toes tapping, no matter how cold it is!

Dancing starts at 1pm, and there will be a lunch, silent auction and door prizes to boot.

Alf Cuthbert School Winter Carnival Moosehorn Hall
The grades 7 and 8 students at the Alf Cuthbert school in Moosehorn are holding a fundraiser in the form of a winter carnival. All money raised at the event will be used to help offset the costs of their class trip to the Maritimes.

So, come on down to the Moosehorn Hall for a day of family fun, all in the name of a great cause. Here at Noventis, we think all of our communities' children should be able to see as much of Canada as possible, so we are a proud supporter of this fun event.

The carnival will run from 11am - 6pm, and will feature games, prizes, carnival treats and the crowning of Miss Snowflake and Mr Snowman. And, if all that isn't enough to keep you busy, there will be a fireworks display after dark, as well!
